I'm sure you see that as a positive, and the LA Times would, but some people including me don't see anything positive in that at all. Because we were paying for them before, and now we're paying that (through property taxes to keep county hospitals open) and now we're buying their insurance, too. Essentially, paying twice for the same damned thing: Providing people with health care who either cannot or choose not to pay for their own.
