The other (religion) is based on belief, principle, and temporal facts that support those beliefs and principles; Scientific facts that support those beliefs as well as human experience facts that support the premises (do's and don'ts). So from a religious point of view science is a practical tool which can confirm some religious beliefs, those which are subject to controllable observation. Human conditions such as corruption and benevolence are not subject to controlled observation but fall under the religious beliefs structure just the same. We evolved from primates."<<< Not true. The age of enlightenment started with a philosophical consideration of the nature of man. It is true that the enlightened populous stood up to corrupt authority which did not adhere to the enlightened view and in some cases was a religious ruling body but that had nothing to do with evolution.
