Dwight, I know. I'm watching carefully. There's been a couple of "ouch's" in the past week or two, but overall my cost basis is good (very good). This is what I've been waiting for (for the 1000): <<<<<< Dow Jones Newswires -- December 12, 1997 Compaq Holders OK Authorized-Share Boost For 2-For-1 Split HOUSTON (Dow Jones)--Compaq Computer Corp. (CPQ) shareholders approved an increase in authorized common shares, allowing the company to execute a 2-for-1 split appproved by the board in October. In a press release Friday, the company said shareholders of record Dec. 31 will receive the split Jan. 20. The stock will trade on a post-split basis Jan. 21.
