I'm just stating that, contrary to your assertion, they benefit the insurance company more than those who pay lower premiums.
That's not contrary to my assumption, that is my assumption......ie those with high deductibles are self insuring and paying a premium for nothing....they are buying catastrophic insurance only.

I have always had a high deductible on my auto insurance, some fifty years now, have never made a claim.
That's auto insurance.....a big difference from health insurance.... Your deductible is for comprehensive coverage not liability....your comprehensive is limited to the value of your car....liability can break you.
