MSFT's shares at $16.50 may be a CEO factor

The SF Chron hardcopy on AAPL's CEO search had on the same page a different item on Sun's CEO Zander .

Hardly seems to be a guy who is looking for a job (no pun) as he pounds his chest over his success at Sun .

Interesting that he discusses Sun's servers start at $15,000 and Sun has no answer for MSFT's NT incursion in the lower range .

Makes you wonder if the CEO candidates don't ever want the job and interview to study buying AAPL .

Now wonder if the DOJ had filed their MSFT papers before 8/97 would S. Jobs have made the $16.50 (desperation) deal with MSFT .

Then wonder if AAPL's $23/share in the proxy is a value to prompt a better than $16.50 offer when these CEO candidates return to home base .

I hope not but then why are there so many top AAPL jobs open ?
