Gold Reserve Corporation Reports that the VETA Rights Resolution has Been Published

Gold Reserve Corporation (TSE: GLR -- NASDAQ: GLDR)--The Company is very pleased to announce that the Venezuelan Ministry of Energy and Mines has approved and issued a resolution instructing the issuance of the Brisas hardrock mining title to the Company's Venezuelan subsidiary.

The resolution, which has been published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Venezuela (the official government publication), orders the issuance of the hardrock mining title for the gold, copper and molybdenum contained in the hardrock beneath the Brisas alluvial gold concession.
