Thank you for your synopsis. On balance I thought the whole thing was positive for us who are long. Let's forget about 1997 as the CEO said.

Good luck to all

Thanks for the "Frank" notes on the meeting. I wish my margin account could forget about 1997 as it relates to PCDOCS. Did the question come up, about the fact that the entire earnings were a result of interest on cash? I didn't get the feeling that 1998 has a strong plan that will correct the short-falls of 1997. It sounds as though they are just hoping that corporations will just get off the pot and make a decision and buy something. Did you feel they presented a sound strategy for the new year? I think next meeting I will be there, I live in Oshawa, which is only an hour away.
Best of luck, thanks again.

Thanks for your time - great post.

<<Went on to say he has done a good job on return for
shareholders.>> Is that why I lost 75% on my initial purchase? What kind of drugs is this bonehead on? Must be some good stuff.

<<Rubin wouldn't comment on his own compensation>>
Of course not. IMO - he is snowing the investment community w/ crazy statements like all employee stockholders will be millionaires. He'll say a couple of inspirational things like that, so that he still has another year to two years of racking up a SOLID salary.

<<Rubin was asked to comment on how this Q is shaping up - said that FIRST TWO
MONTHS LOOK PRETTY GOOD - BETTER THAN LAST 2 MONTHS - LOOKS
VERY ENCOURAGING. (but you never know many customers will wait till month end
in hoes of a better deal.)>>
Same story, different quarter.

<<forget about 1997>>
...and forget about 1996 too - but 1998 will be different cause Rubin says so.

IMO CyberDOCS is where the growth must come from - because it won't be from legacy DOCS Open. The question is can the company rally together around this product and get it out into the field?

-Jay

Thanks. Great summary. But what are your feelings/observations based on what was said. 1) would you buy more 2) bet the farm 3) wait and see.

By the way, their acquisition criteria sounds quite good. Does not look like they are looking to rescue some company.

Did you get any feel for employee morale. Are rank-and-file and mid-management positive ? Mind you if they had re-priced the options for everyone other then, board members and VP level management, it would have been OK.
