There is no way the won can stay that far down. This is a panic sell situation. No country in asia will be competitive with korea. Especially Japan.

Korea is virtually bankrupt. 20% of GNP in bad loans. They can't sell bonds. They would not let foreign investors in. Who needs Korean wons? IMO, they ought to rename their currency. How does Korean "loss" sound?

I agree with regard to Korea' competitiveness. It's a cash-n-carry country now. No cash, no carry. They will not be undersold. More dominoes to fall.
