That is a shame. Those kids will never know what they are missing by not going to college.

If I was just starting out I would moved to Alaska and spend one year getting residency and then go to college up here. It is pretty cheap up here.

And there are lots of high paying jobs. Especially in the summer.

So a person can still work their way through college up here. Plus the state will give them about $1,500 per year in a permanent fund check.
