Being the contrarian, I must put out the following disinformation. This should convolute the great market spirits. Expect the following soon: Avant! will announce a $750M deal for Apollo, and the stock will rocket up to $90/share. Lucent and Motorola will get into a bidding war for Avant! After all charges and civil suits are dropped, Bill Clinton will nominate Gerry Hsu as the next Attorney General. Latrell Sprewell will be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for 1997.
