Apple could find enough money in the cushions of the chairs at 1 Infinite Loop to pay that kind of money. It's a slap on the wrist, just like the e-book price fixing settlement will prove to be – despite the righteous indignation of a person or two on this thread.

$81 million is about 13.5 hours of work for Apple based on a back of the envelope calculation of last quarter's FCF generation. It is not even a blip on the radar. People have a very difficult time comprehending what Apple does.
