these amendments were not written in a vacuum......there was context.........a tremendous amount of preliminary discussion and debate.......all of which need be included in any discussion of what the founding fathers meant.......none of which libtards will acknowledge, cite, or accept.........it is a waste of time discussing this issue with any of them............if George Mason came back from the dead and addressed the libtards on what he meant, it would not make any difference.

If they wanted it to recognize the right of the militia they would have written it that way, but they didn't.
I think they did for the reason I mentioned and so does Justice Stevens...
