I'll again point to MSFT as an example. Please tell me how it would have risen 39,483% since inception to April 1, 2014 without all the stock splits, I'd really like to know.


Berkshire Hathaway seemed to do ok without any splits.

Moreover, I do think that a $100,000 share price makes little sense, but I dont think taking an argument to the extreme really helps anybody. I doubt advocates of a split would have been happy with a 1000 to 1 split either.

Personally, I dont think it matters one way or another. There is no downside besides a tiny amount of extra administrative costs due to more shareholders.
