You don't have to explain your system to me. Even if you hadn't "told me many times.". When citizens get medical care from a government without regard to how much or whether they pay in via taxes, it's a welfare system. From each according to his abilities, to each according to his needs. Conceptually, very different from insurance.

Perhaps you haven't been reading carefully. I'm glad you like your system. I am not making a value judgement about it. I am merely trying to correctly categorize and differentiate some concepts. It is an analytical process, not opinion, nor advocacy.

For the record, once again, I am not nor have I ever been a Republican.
