I really love it when high quality stocks go on sale. ORCL, AMAT, and CPQ to name a few. My question as I don't follow AMAT too closely - is this a good time to buy or hasn't the street slaughtered this stock enough ? It seems to me that from a high of $54 to $26-27, this is a bargain - Asia problems or not. If my division is right, even at $2 a share, it's 13X 1998 earnings - and growing at 40%.... seems like a deal that's hard to refuse. Or am I missing something ? Thanks for yur input.

Good investing to all !
