Thank you for all the detail on the Slingbox working with NFL Sunday Ticket. As I think I mentioned before, I can't get DirecTV at my place due to both homeowners restrictions and lack of proper line of sight for the satellite dish. So, I'd be the one relying on the Slingbox's capabilities to use it. If you wanted to test-connect to our feed to see what kind of quality you get, I'd be happy to give you the login/PW - just promise to keep private and don't use beyond a few tests (as only one person can use at a time, we don't want it to get crowded). You'd just need the Slingplayer app installed on your device. There is a legacy player that works on PCs (not sure about Macs) as well, though I'm not sure where you can get the installation file for this.
