I still think the wiser approach is not to engage in the activism at all. Look out for shareholder interests - that's his job.

Cook made it clear that Apple is going to follow through on their environmental agenda. At that point, there's no placating those that feel, as you do, that they shouldn't. Suggesting that your only recourse is to not be Apple investors sounds belligerent, but it's really just common sense. It's true whether he says it or not. It makes no real difference.
