The liberal Democrat also threatened several times to murder his girlfriend, according to police reports. His sentence for the brutal assault? Chahal received an extremely light tap on the wrist, only 25 days of community service and no jail time, according to the Daily Mail,which also reports that Chahal attempted to smother his girlfriend during the beating. According to the Washington Free Beacon, progressive Chahal has contributed over $100,000 since 2011, all to Democrats, and that he visited Obama personally in 2011, and the First Lady at the White House in 2012.
