And probably 78% of the attendees at games are white---I-m speculating there's no way to know of course. But if one goes by the make up of fans in the court side seats (the most expensive) that certainly seems to be the case. This would seem to say that basketball transcends race.

Another 10-20% are foreigners. 'Mercan' whites are truly in a minority in the league.

On another thread, our racist friend longnshort has proposed a "Negro League". I don't favor the idea, but it would be a hoot to have the final championship game be played by the best Negro League and White League teams! It would combine normal sports team partisanship with racism. The White League team would probably have to suffer humiliating, crushing defeats, year after year... Which lead me to the thought, what if the Harlem Globetrotters, instead of having the mixed race Generals lose all the time, fielded a team of skinny, short, white, glasses wearing losers?
