<<OFFTOPIC>> <<How well do you fare when it comes to day-trading??
>>

I left my institutional sales job end of July. Aug 13 I started with 160k in trading capital. I'm now at about 230K with a pretty bad November. I've traded over 1,000,000 shares since mid-Aug...I can't even believe it but keeping records is critical.

I pay 2 cents a share for transactions, but executions...are almost instaneous. Am up $3,900 for today as we speak...my system give me tick by tick P&L. I should probably spend less time being an investor since those are typically the positions I get hammered on.

So I guess I do okay. I have Bridge, TradeStation and numerous friends on the Street, so I have someone to bounce my ideas off of. Currently long 3 "investment" positions and short 5 names: probably about 20% net short.

Hope this gives some background. You can email me offline if you have other offtopic questions.
