I usually keep my mouth shut, but have to answer a direct question. Her attitude toward investing and risk is one of her few faults.

Hank - I too have cut back on what i tell my wife. I tell my mother nothing anymore, she worries like crazy and the kids are young and oblivious. I do the best I can, I try not to look back because I start talking to myself like Bill Parcells "Stupid, Stupid, Stupid".

When I think I have to explain everything, "trading, investing and shorting", I just get blank stares.

I am learning from many people on this and other threads.

Best Wishes to the McNabb Brothers,

:)

Hank, how about some TA on ctxs. Does it look like smart money may be exiting ahead of news, or is it just my wishful thinking?

Hi Hank, I bet your wife is having no trouble seeing your big smiles recently!! Congratulations on what must have been a great week for you. I have most of my funds on the sidelines now -- own only small amounts of home depot and t right now which are doing nicely. Oh yes, plus one driller in my IRA which I bought high and should have sold but didn't. After having sold my mostly tech portfolio (about 20 stocks) prior to meltdown, I am watching to see what I can learn about this type of market. Was whipsawed in summer 96 don't care to be again. Watching and learning. Anyway, congrats again. Curious to see how this Asia business evolves. Wonder if all the buy/hold and buy-the-dips folks will get seriously hurt one of these days? Take care. I read most of your posts and learn much from them.
