But if any of us stop being a burden out of love we are deemed "cowards" by gregoree! Compassion is very cowardly! I think it was cowardly of Jesus to kill the fig tree. Such a mindless act of petty revenge and puerile cruelty over an imagined slight! More than cowardly. Despicable! One of the most cowardly acts ever recorded. Thankfully, it is just myth. Curses have no power as we now know. But primitive people thought all sorts of dumb things because they simply had no way of knowing...
