Why I just think that is the best idea! Martha would be proud. And how about those annoying dead needles from the tree? Those are very christmasy. We should put those in the cards too. Should make everyone on your list feel warm and fuzzy.

miss penni - i 'spect you've had your hand in the cookie jar
today... but taht IS a wonderful idea.

i haven't sent xmas cards since jr. high school. or maybe that's the last time i bought them and thought about sending them. but you have me inspired. this year, i'm going to imagine sending truly creative and thoughtful cards to all my friends.
and hope they imagine receiving them.

I can crumble up these bourbon cookies that I still have several dozen left of and put some in each envelope-wouldn't that be festive? And smell like Christmas?

Well, it'd smell like something, most likely rancid butter. Imagine the effect your lumpy, greasespotted envelopes would have on your (former) friends!

Do try it....

...all this damn glitter falls out and then you have to vaccuum?

A further tiny point. One never actually HAS to vacuum. It is a matter of free choice.

Mrs. Scrooge, apparently not a fan of small electrical appliances, speaks out:

And you know how you get those annoying cards with confetti in them? The kind that when you open the envelope all this damn glitter falls out and then you have to vaccuum? What idiot came up with that stupid idea?
