Water kills a lot of people, mostly from drowning, but also from weather effects. Also just ingesting pure water can kill you (but it takes so much of it its really hard to do, try chugging a couple of gallons in a short time, it can be rather dangerous but its also really difficult.

Of course the other substances (caffeine, alcohol, and aspirin, can all cause problems in much smaller amounts (a couple of gallons of water is 16 lbs, much less than that of any of the others will kill you), also none of them are anywhere near as important as water.
