You are afraid. It takes a brave man or woman to grab the glass with a firm grip and toss back the hemlock with a hearty laugh! Anyone can be a burden to others. I believe that you would choose to be just that. If You had Alzheimers and needed continuous care you would let your spouse lose the last 20 years of her life just to clean up your feces and wipe down the bathroom walls after you. Where a brave man in a lucid moment might find a way to let his hostages go free, one suspects that you would hold your hostages until the last raspy breath escaped your cold lungs.
