Keith Farnham was charged Monday with using both personal and state-owned computers to trade hundreds of images and videos depicting child pornography and engage in graphic online chats in which he allegedly bragged about sexually molesting a 6-year-old girl. The federal criminal complaint alleged that Farnham, 66, a Democrat from Elgin, possessed two videos depicting child pornography on a computer that was seized from his state office in Elgin a week before his abrupt resignation in March. Authorities also linked a Yahoo! email account used by Farnham to a online trading forum in which he chatted with other users about his sexual preferences, according to the charges. “12 is about as old as i can handle,” Farnham allegedly said in one online chat in November, according to the charges. “i love them at 6 7 8” Related Former Rep. Authorities later traced the Internet usage to the Comcast account at Farnham’s home, according to the charges. In one online conversation in November with a person identified only as “User A,” Farnham allegedly described in detail a sexual encounter with a 6-year-old girl. In another chat a few weeks later, Farnham allegedly told User A, “i wish i had access to all the vids and pics ever made.” Former Elgin mayor Ed Schock, who worked closely with Farnham on legislative issues, said Monday the charges were “almost beyond comprehension.” “It’s hard to really get my head around,” Schock said.

Apr 28, 2014 By Kim Schriner myfoxphoenix.com Ansar Muhammad AVONDALE, Ariz. - Police say a valley man threatened to kill his wife, telling his victim "Islamic Law" gave him the right to kill her. Ansar Muhammad, 43, is facing several charges, including assault and imprisonment. According to the police report, on April 26, Muhammad sexually assaulted the victim, held her against her will while threatening to kill her, punched and strangulated her, causing physical injuries at their home near 112th Avenue and Encanto Boulevard. Police say the victim fled to a neighbor's home to call them after the suspect fell asleep. Muhammad was detained outside his residence upon police arrival and refused to make any statements. In the report, police say their investigation determined that Muhammad and the victim were arguing about her having an affair when "Ansar picked the victim up, carrying her like a baby and put her in their vehicle against her will." He then proceeded to drive to the rear of a nearby Walgreens store where "Ansar began to assault the victim by punching her multiple times, leaving physical injuries on her face, neck, back, chest and legs." When the victim continued to try to get away and told him to stop, police say he told the victim he was going to kill her because he had the right due to his "Islamic Belief." The victim told police Muhammad then drove back to their home and threatened to throw her in a lake because she can't swim. When they arrived at the residence, Muhammad told the victim to remain quiet and not wake their three children before taking her phone, per the police report. Muhammad was arrested and booked into the Avondale city jail and later transported to the Maricopa County jail. He faces aggravated assault domestic violence-impede breathing, assault-intent/reckless/injury, unlawful imprisonment, threatening-intimidation with injury and sexual assault charges. That Alinsky tactic was used against George Zimmerman during a pre-trial media assault dedicated to showing that Mr. Zimmerman was a racist. This recorded conversation between Mr. Zimmerman and a police dispatcher was edited and widely broadcast to delete the words shown below in bold face type: “Zimmerman: This guy looks like he’s up to no good or he’s on drugs or something. It’s raining and he’s just walking around, looking about. Dispatcher: OK and this guy – is he white, black or Hispanic? Zimmerman: He looks black.” [Emphasis added.] Here’s how it was broadcast to make Mr. Zimmerman seem to be a racist: “Zimmerman: There is a real suspicious guy. Ah, this guy looks like he is up to no good or he is on drugs or something. He looks black.” In similar fashion, Cliven Bundy’s remarks were made to appear racist by editing them to delete words suggesting that he is not racist. Might the reason have been, as I think it was, to divert attention from the heavy-handed actions of the Bureau of Land Management and Senator Reid’s involvement in the mess?
