David, concur;... my telecom, retail, and medical are holding well...
Getting killed on the techs, most small caps, and some energy stocks.
The feeling in the air is beginning to have a tinge of '73-'74 to it, however. Early in that cycle, there was a lot of denial of the possible extent of the downturn... But, of course the circumstances were far different also... The oil crisis had much more direct effect on the U.S. economy, and interest rates were much higher.
But there has been too much minimizing of the extent of the effect an Asian "Domino" scenario could have on U.S. financial markets.. and the complacency index seems too high..IMHO
A time for caution, methinks... Good luck... TSO
