Well, what out you hold as "hiding in the weeds" is fundamental fairness in my eyes.

In any event you have you want--he is dumped out of the league for life if 75% of the owners back Silver's decision. And I think they will, not out of any regard of the truth of the matter, but because the situation is hurting the league's image and bottom line and will going forward and thus the detract from the value of the owner's franchises and TV contracts.

And from what I heard from ESPN's legal analyst, Sterling will never have a day in court over it (wherein the evidence would be subject to a high level of scrutiny) because when you become an NBA owner you agree to take matters like this to arbitration instead of court. And it's my guess, the arbitrator only decides if the league acted within its granted power's and doesn't go into the validity of the evidence.

So we'll never know the answers to a lot of questions here. Not saying Sterling would have wanted this (a legal proceeding) or is not a racist.
