Chrome: when I had the Chrome non-responsiveness problem the version number ended in 116m. Just now it's 131m

will give Chrome another chance

F, I'm using Chrome again to see whether the update fixed the previous intermittent sluggishness. When it was slow I had also seen high disk activity in task manager. Up to 100% at times
But now it's near zero

I reinstalled Chrome after removing it with Revo. It's been only one day - too short a time to tell if the improved speed is permanent. Reading and posting are fast but a search on this thread just now was slow. Since I don't search SI often, I can live with that.
