MCsweet, I agree that PFIN's management compensation is excessive and voted likewise. FWIW, OFIN fortunes seem to be slowly improving and I am holding onto my shares. If management could be pushed to show more restraint, the stock would be even better.

In support, I withheld my votes for management and voted against management compensation via electronic proxy.
I vote against management compensation for most of companies I have invested in. I think voted "for" maybe 5 times out of ~50. It might not matter, but I think it's a good practice anyway.

Buffett caved in and abstained in KO vote. That's not a bad for a guy who hates to be seen in negative light. It would have been better if he voted "against" but that's too much to ask.

PFIN and This American Life,

Hey Spek,

In part 2 of their Wake Up episode, aired recently, the radio show/podcast This American Life talked about Timothy Stabosz's efforts to get the PFIN's CEO compensation reduced.

This was a total surprise -- I listen to that podcast regularly and never ever imagined I'd hear that kind of a story, since this is a very popular, general interest podcast.

I only have a small position left in the company.
