And as a result they are the poorest and most uneducated region of the country. And ironically they need welfare and food stamps more than anyone and they vote for the guys who would like to take it all away.

E.g. the lack of unions means super low paying jobs and few who have health insurance. And the don't even get upset when their govs turn down free fed medicade that would help their poor.

In Alaska where we have strong unions our workers make big money and the corporations are fine with it.

Go figure?

"All you right wingers know how to do is carry water for the rich."

The southern working class right-wingers have been doing this since before the Civil War. They fought for the wealthy, slave-owning plantation owners because:

1. If blacks weren't slaves, they'd be competing with THEM for their jobs ( and women!).

2. Blacks as slaves gave them a group they could feel superior to.

Why they carry water for the wealthy today is the mystery.
