Thanks Jim for the BW articles , the main article sure makes interesting reading . I hope for the Intel investors point of view those estimated growth rates are incorrect , UBS estimates only 7.6% earnings growth next year that could drop P/E to as low as 7.6 . That would really wallop the stock and not do much good for tech stocks in general .

PS that being said IMHO '98 will be a year to pick stocks that have potential to grow faster than the industry . AMD is my pick in that category since I believe yield is rapidly improving . The price drop in 233s indicates improving yield plus other reasons .
