MISC.- PIPELINES / Northern Border Prices Equity Offering Northern Border Partners LP (NYSE:NBP) HOUSTON, Dec 11 (Reuters) - Northern Border Partners LP said Thursday it has priced an equity offering of 2.75 million common units at a public offering price of $34.00 per unit. Net proceeds of the offering are to be used to fund capital contributions by the partnership to Northern Border Pipeline Co for construction of The Chicago Project, an $839 million pipeline extension and expansion. Northern Border owns a 70 percent general partner interest in Northern Border Pipeline Co, which owns a 969-mile U.S. interstate pipeline system that transports about 20 percent of all Canadian gas into the U.S.
