Tens of millions of people did not have to live in abject poverty and tens of millions more were able to put food on the table during desperate times. We were never buying votes. You like to say that because you have no compassion, so you have no idea how a person who has empathy and compassion makes decisions based on the suffering they see. You show no sensitivity to the suffering of others, so you like to make shit up like we are buying votes. 50 years I have been a dem and no one thinks that way. We worry about those less fortunate than we. I know you have no way of understanding that as you don't worry about anyone but yourself. <<We know we are just giving them a leg up. Which is why they vote for us. Respect. After how many trillion buying votes with the war on poverty, what have you got to show for it?
