Didn't you leave out one very significant personage of the Germanic/Hun persuasion? One could hardly call Kim Jung-un from N. Korea "secular". As for the Russian revolution there was much idealism & noble intent initially, yes it was a failure, suggest reading Boris Pasternak's "Doctor Zhivago" , simply marvelous book, a masterpiece of human thought that surpasses any scripture ever written. After we see the older social structures of the world change from the Noble Family/Elite rule into the industrial age secular economies, the Russians still end up playing a huge role in that victory on the Eastern front with their mass produced T38 tanks.

What is going on here that you do not see Darwinism always at play here, you can't be that much of a child, try to open your mind to reality for once. One cannot even begin to imagine the constant that was mass ---->human suffering that has always been in play as human populations always continued to grow. Always that quarreling between the emerging empires/superpowers over territory with death & fighting constant, just like any jungle you can name. It was a time of absolute power by enlightened despots, (just like the Pharoahs of old), an absolutism that was as hard on the backs of the poor based on the end justifies the means ideology to bring on that percieved golden age. In the period from 1881 to 1920, more than two million Jews left Holy Russian Empire for racial discrimination, ruled by the Tzars from Peter to Catherine , the Tzar's motto was the same as Hitlers *----->"God is With Us".* Back to the German/Hun Super power nexus, thanks to technology which can tend to rule us, unfortunately Hitlers approach to grandiosity with his "bigger is better" strategy failed against our assembly line, mass produced "keep it simple" & adaptable approach .
