Hawk

Eric, Let me give you a little follow up on ocean acidity. For one thing, since the oceans are ALREADY slightly Alkaline, there is no such thing as ocean acidification.

Really....

It's the "shift" of PH that is occurring in the worlds oceans.

It has been well documented worldwide.

This last winter I attended a great lecture at the U of W School of Oceanography where the current changes in the worlds oceans was discussed. The evidence is overwhelming that humans are causing it.

P.S.

I'll stick with the real, degreed scientists, not the fake ones at wattsupwith whatever...

Gosh, you're such an expert on the topic. You should make a paper and present it to the UN... Alert the world!

BTW, pteropods are adapted to certain range in alk and pH. If that the pH/alk levels fall outside of their comfort zone for growth, then the populations suffer. As pH is trending DOWN at a faster rate than they can adapt to, they are in trouble. Quit misleading with masturbatory shite. I believe what the scientists are saying, not someone drunk on hydrocarbons.
