>>>Undercutting competition, targeting their customers to hurt their bottom line to drive them out of business is "The American Dream"??<<<

You bet it is. It's called capitalism. That evil, cold blooded, cut throat, dog-eat-dog system that has created the strongest economy and highest standard of living in the history of the world. I'm sure that anyone who is outraged at living in such a grossly immoral environment can move to a kinder, gentler, non-competitive socialist utopia such as Cuba or North Korea.

Excellent stuff oh bearded one ... also, this idea that MS will offer two Windows, one with IE and one without and make the former more attractive (better functionality, lower price) ... I think this will run into a brick wall called 'tying' ... in fact, maybe the only way to prevent tying ('cause it's a reflex action in Redmond) is for the Justice Dep't to outlaw the bundling of Windows and IE ... suspect that's where we're heading.

regards, Mike

Just curious: when the bureaucrats broke up Standard Oil or Ma Bell, were these companies giving free gas or free phone service? Consumers love a bargain and you can't get much better than free. Just my thoughts, PW.
