Its part of why I bought back in 14 points below where I sold on Korean concerns. May still go lower, but certainly a lot of the bad news is in it.

Re: Kernan. It may be true that 75% of current CDMA cell phone users are in Korea (my guess is that is dated info, but whatever.) I believe their whole cell phone system is CDMA. Large installed base. That's history.

Korea is nothing close to 75% of Qcom's current sales.

Schroeder estimated a .20 hit in 98, from 2.20 to 2.00. My guess is it will be a bit worse. (I think they divided Korean profits in half. But Korea will not only pay less $ due to 50% cheaper Won, fewer sales will be made by Samsung et al in Korea to worried cos and individuals. And Samsung will probably delay payment, etc.
