The only way you could get many on this thread to say ANYTHING good about ObamaCare is to change the name to RepublicanCare...

I realize that there is a lot of partisanship going on. But that doesn't mean that the program doesn't suck. It's like that old adage about being paranoid not meaning that they're not after you.

I agree it's hard to differentiate between the legitimate criticism and the hype and hostility. I have long been opposed to the displays of hype and hostility because they mask and undermine the legitimate shortcomings, which is counterproductive. They make it too easy for the biased to dismiss criticisms as just more partisanship.

The demise of employer health care may be a result of ObamaCare but it is not an element of it. Two different things.

You should realize that a lot of the opposition isn't from Republicans but is simply from people who want less regulation in their lives and more self determination and living with the results of one's decisions. Personally, I find what Republicans are doing these days to be just as grotesque as what Democrats are doing. If you show me a competent Democrat with integrity he/she will get equal consideration for my vote.
