When the FED creates 85 billion dollars a month out of thin air for years on end doesn't help any either.

When a government lies to its people, and the people let them get away with it, makes a big difference, the country is in complete decline. Follies, I agree with you! That is why the US should not have allowed Bush II and his VP to get the US into two wars which killed thousand of US soldiers, wounded others, and began the downturn of our economic in 2001 which bottomed out in Fall of 2008. All politicians stretch the truth with most exiting their office as multiple millions.
