I have heard that CPQ may not split and in fact they company has been very close mouthed about the split lately!! Yaacov, As I've posted before I don't have any information that you or I for that matter can rely on. If I'm not mistaken The Board of Directors approved split yesterday. I don't think they'd do it just to cancel a few weeks later. Regards.

Yaac...seems I remember that you had the inside on the split announcement, but wasn't it 2-3 days prior to the split that you learned of it? We are still 5 weeks away, with earnings, possible news, unknown market conditions, etc., all yet to be seen. I suppose anything is possible, but today's news stated that the split would occur 1/21/98 a.m. Hopefullythings will turn up and CPQ will split and have a good '98. S.
