Another brilliant analyst downgrade.

NEW YORK -(Dow Jones)- Needham & Co. analysts Brent C. Williams downgraded
Oracle Corp. (ORCL) to "buy" from "strong buy." The ratings change is in
response to concerns that Oracle is encountering problems in multiple areas of
its business, Williams said.
The firm set a 12-month target price of $25, Williams said. The stock Friday
afternoon was trading at $22.275, well below the 52-week high of $42.125 set
Aug. 20. The company expects Oracle to earn 90 cents a share in fiscal 1998.
