BOB :

What would your advice be for someone with heavy losses right now in tech stocks or for that matter any stocks. My feeling is that with all the pundits saying the bull market is over, with the exception of metals there is really no place to hide unless you want to go to cash.

I personally would recommend 10 to 15 % of ones portfolio right now in metals or mining stocks, and to stay the course on the balance of your portfolio.

I have been tempted to start a thread DOW 10,000 by 2,000. And I agree that the bull market is still intact. There is a lot of cash on the sidelines and more to come from 401's and IRA's after the first of the year; so we will have to do the "wait". For anyone tempted to do a wholesale "bailout" I would caution you. We know who the tempter is, that is not God speaking to you.

And to hear this from Peter the apostle who definitely had problems with temptation I Peter 1:6 Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations.

So let us resolve to stay the course this Christmas season, worship, praise, pray and go tell it on the mountain to whomever will hear: Christ the Savoir is born.

In Christ.gregor
