Hope they don't take the mobility factor away.

Netflix will never do that, far too many people use mobile devices with the service for them to ever consider removing that feature.

What I should have written before is that Netflix could tie their service to the MAC (Media Access Control) address (not IP address) of any device capable of streaming their content, and allow only so many devices per account. MAC addresses are unique to every network connected device in the world.

Yes, MAC addresses can be spoofed, but only the most determined people would do that in order to cheat Netflix. Most simply wouldn't know how to do it.
