Mark, There is nothing like it. I pay $40 a month unlimited service and it is sooo fast. Usually 500kb/s I dont know how anyone can settle for 33.6 or 56k. There is no comparison and very reliable. I was never able to get above 28.8 but others had. crummy underground lines and CO's. Anyone considering 56k should go for cable and save the $100 on the modem and put it toward $40. they include pci network card and motorola modem. Installation was free.
