BSFT knocking on $25, last mentioned here when it was at $19/share on the over reaction to earnings....

BSFT missed earnings, complete overreaction, IMO....goes on reversal watch. A big miss and guide down but not 20% off the company type of miss.....might be a great rebound play after it settles down

Cisco Systems Inc. CSCO, +1.48% said Monday it has reached a deal to acquire Broadsoft Inc. BSFT, +0.75% in a deal valued at about $1.9 billion net of cash. Cisco will pay $55 for each Broadsoft share, the company said in a statement. "We believe that our combined offers, from Cisco's collaboration technology for enterprises to BroadSoft's suite for small and medium businesses delivered through Service Providers will give customers more choice and flexibility," said Rowan Trollope, senior vice president and general manager of Cisco's applications business group. The deal is expected to close in the first quarter of 2018. BroadSoft shares were halted for the news, but had gained almost 17% premarket on a report the deal was pending. Cisco shares up 0.6%.
