I have had no problems with my Cox@Home service. I believe Cox won the best customer service award for cable providers. I have called their customer service number for @Home here in Orange County, CA a few times and usually get connected right away. I did have to wait a few days for the technician to install it though.

I hope you e-mail that to ATHM because they need to realize that there will be competition in this area and it's not OK to let the local providers continue serving customers in typical cable company fashion. That is, they will need to bring their service into the lousy to horrible range from non-existent to abusive range so typical of a monopoly.
