How I deal with my arthritis. Might help someone:

Morning, metamucil, fish oil caplet, teaspoon of olive oil and green tea (three tea bags).

Mid day I will take a spoonful of avacodo oil and more green tea.

The rest of the day I take one or the other as needed alone or together.

My four weapons when I feel the arthritis coming on is green tea, fish oil, and olive and avocado oil.

These are all powerful anti inflammatory foods. If it gets sort of bad, I take them all together and the arthritis just stops cold within minutes.

I wish my mom had known about that approach to her arthritis.

And I don't have to take any pain pills and have kept my arthritis more or less at bay for almost 20 years doing this.

An interview on longevity I saw recently said the top three things for longevity are:

1) exercise (we all know that one)

2) statins!?

3) Keeping inflammation down!

Where is the sign that liberals struggle with abortion? They support abortion regardless of how far along the child is, they oppose parental notification, they oppose any regulations on abortion clinics. They think abortions should be easier to get than ear piercings. They oppose conscience clause exceptions for people financing the abortions, they want to force Catholic hospitals to perform them.

More on the alleged liberal dilemma re abortion: The reaction to the Emily Letts' "positive abortion story"

.... the abortion fetishists at Think Progress boast that the video ‘proves’ that abortion ‘doesn’t have to be scary.’ In their mind, you can ‘prove’ a thing to be fun and lighthearted by filming yourself smiling while you do it. Maybe someone over at Think Progress can plaster a grin on their face and jump into the shark tank at the aquarium, thereby scientifically proving that sharks are friendly and cuddly.

Gawker takes the opportunity to scold conservative pundits for being upset about a woman bragging that she killed her baby. They lament the fact that Emily is receiving lots of hate mail, because you totally would never expect angry feedback when you go through the effort to nationally publicize your decision to terminate your child. Maybe next I can film myself drowning puppies, and then whine that I’ve been victimized when thousands of people treat me like someone who just drowned a bunch of puppies.

The most confusing analysis came from PolicyMic, which trumpeted Emily’s video as a thorough debunking of the biggest pro-life ‘myth.’ What’s the myth? That abortions can be dangerous. How did she ‘destroy’ it? By providing 90 seconds of video footage of her smirking while happy music played in the background.

I wonder, can I use the same strategy to debunk the myth that smoking is unhealthy?

“Look! Smoking must be wholesome — how else do you explain the upbeat background music?”
