Long term INVESTORS will be the ones who eventually are rewarded by their investment in the world's premier tech company. In principle, you are right, the problem is it could get worse -- a LOT worse -- before it gets better, and also that it could be a LONG time before it gets better. IF there is not a global economic meltdown triggered by the monetary crisis in asia through a domino effect. (I think that this is possible, although for now I think/hope that it is unlikely).
