It appears the Koreans are getting desperate They may soon be selling drives at a loss. I am sure the collapse of the Won (down it's 10% limit again today) has thrown their business strategies way off. I could not believe it when I saw their average debt/equity ratios (3:1)!!! There is SERIOUS concern that the government will default on numerous loans next month

BTW, You can get a WDC 6.4GB in the stores here for $269 after the rebate as of last weekend (it may have gone down again this week), and WDC is more likely to be around in three years (warranty period) than Maxtor.

This DD sector problem may become very bloody and be over pretty soon.
